New Zealand imposes new sanctions on Russia

New Zealand has announced a new round of sanctions against 33 individuals and entities linked to the Russian government over their involvement in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs sanctioned 33 people and organizations for supporting Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine.

Sanctions specifically target cyber actors, as well as individuals connected to the forced displacement and abduction of Ukrainian children.

This marks the 36th round of sanctions that New Zealand has imposed against the Moscow government.
