The US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) added three organizations and two individuals to its sanctions list last week, designating them as violent far-left extremist groups or affiliated supporters:

Autistici Inventati: An Italy-based collective accused of providing digital infrastructure, tools, and services to violent far-left extremists and entities aligned with its ideology.

Palestine Action: A group previously designated as a terrorist organization by the UK in July 2025, cited by the US for orchestrating acts that injured British law enforcement personnel and intimidated commercial businesses.

Masar Badil: An international organization accused of acting as a front for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Its senior leaders, Rawa Alsagheer and Zaid Abdulnasser, were also sanctioned.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that Washington intends to deploy the full force of its economic tools against far-left violent networks and their fronts to dismantle their financial lifelines.
